For the price, it was definitely a great deal. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the nearby attractions like Hallstatt. The staff were friendly and helpful, giving us tips and even providing us with some helpful creams when I had back pain. it was a pleasant stay.

The breakfast menu could use a bit more variety.

The bathrooms and showers were also well-maintained. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, even providing me with some pain relief cream for my back. a great experience with plenty of amenities.

Strong, hot shower. Friendly dorm-mates. Easy access from train station. Easy train and ferry ride to nearby attractions. Close to restaurants, visitor center, and bus stop. WiFi is strong. Well-maintained rooms.

As low-budget travellers, we loved the welcoming and helpful owner who even picked us up from the train station. the views on the way to Hallstatt were breathtaking. the kitchen and affordable coffee provided an opportunity to save money. the Wi-Fi was reliable for streaming Netflix. com, with locks in the bathroom and outlets by the beds. the hostel provided a friendly and social atmosphere, with a communal table for guests to eat together. the colorful room was charming and lively.

Regarding the drawbacks, unfortunately, there was a noticeable smell of smoke and wet dog in the common areas. some guests were noisy late at night, which disturbed our sleep.
